 Vietnam, my food country

Hello everyone. My name is Hung. I was born in Vietnam and moved to the United States with my family two years ago. In my country, there are many delicious and unique dishes that you should try. I will introduce to you some dishes from my country that have reached the world. These are PHO, Banh Mi, and Goi Cuon.

Pho, This dish can be considered a miniature replica of Vietnamese cuisine in general: a variety of fresh ingredients combined together in a way that is texturally interesting, extremely healthy, and delicate yet complex in flavor. Wherever you are, in Vietnam, America, or any other country, as long as there are Vietnamese people, you will enjoy the food and taste the quintessence of this dish. You will feel the harmony of different flavors: the characteristic smell of beef, the smell of nuts such as cinnamon, and cloves, and finally the vegetables that go with Pho such as coriander, lettuce, and bean sprouts.

Next, the food I will show you is Banh mi. If you want a quick, nutritious, and filling meal, you should try this one, I believe you will like it. You will have many options to influence the recipe: a sandwich filled with grilled meat, or pork sausage, you can also sandwich it with eggs if you like and finally, you cannot miss the vegetables such as cucumber, pickles, and cilantro.

And finally, this is (Goi cuon). Spring rolls are a Vietnamese dish that was listed in the “Top 50 most delicious dishes in the world by CNN”. Spring rolls are made from simple ingredients such as rice paper, pork, shrimp, bean sprouts, vermicelli, raw vegetables, etc. All are wrapped in a layer of rice paper on the outside. Spring rolls look more delicious when rolled beautifully and roundly without breaking. The “soul” or indispensable part when eating this dish is the dipping sauce, there are 3 types of dipping sauce for spring rolls such as: Black bean sauce, sweet and sour fish sauce, and fermented fish sauce, depending on everyone's taste, choose the dipping sauce that suits you.

Even though I have been living in America for 2 years and have tasted countless delicious dishes, I still love the dishes of my country. I want to protect and spread them to everyone so that everyone knows and tastes these dishes. Who knows, you might love them as much as I do.
